History

The founder himself a watch-loving Swiss watched in his childhood years with fascination as his father restored old pocket watches; Thus the watch bug had been planted early on.

A few years ago, he felt that there should be a better, easier and most of all more convenient way of changing watch straps. As a seasoned engineer with plenty of design experience in precision components he developed a solution for all straight industry standard spring bars:

No more tools, injuries, scratched watch cases, broken nails or galled up springbars. With the encouragement from friends and the help of skilled and dedicated partners, BELGARDE was created.
